I am often asked how do you process trauma or get to your core wounds in order to heal?

The opposite of trauma is safety, the foundation of processing trauma lies in establishing safety and regulation of the nervous system. Once your nervous system is safe and regulated we can start to look at the triggers, traumas, emotions and limiting beliefs that are holding you stuck.
Often the core of these issues are rooted deep in our subconscious and outside of our conscious memories (usually from childhood), which is what makes it tricky to move past. You think you've done all the work on an issue but actually the core wound still hasn't been uncovered and processed... which is why the issue, triggers or patterns continue to come up and replay.
Using the innate wisdom of the nervous system, body and the unconscious mind we're able to uncover where the core wounds lie, sometimes these can be really surprising like childhood memories you'd forgotten, memories you didn't realise you were holding onto, and even trauma from birth. the womb or our parents or grandparents that has been passed down generationally.
